YAMAHA SF-40 Used Motor Boats in Japan for sale

　This is the Yamaha SF-40 40ft fishing cruiser.
As the name "Sportfisher" suggests, this boat is recommended for marlin fishing and cruising.

　Not only is she equipped with out and center rigger and fighting chairs for marlin fishing, but also two air conditioners, one for marine use and one for home use, for your comfort.
　There is an aft station on the port side of the rear deck, which can be operated in 3 places together with the cabin flying bridge.


　The current owner purchased this boat around 2014 with both main engines overhauled.
At that time, the marine generator had also been converted to the current Onan/5MDKBH.
　In June 2022, the electric marine toilet and both port and starboard main impellers were replaced and the hull bottom was painted.
In May 2021, both port and starboard main engine oil and generator engine oil & impeller were replaced.

　Currently confirmed problems are: FB radar is malfunctioning & unusable due to old standard.
One engine room blower has been replaced but 2 are defective.
　The autopilot does not turn on, so a power problem is suspected.
The port boost meter is also immobile, so I suspect this is also due to a sensor or power supply.

　There is some corrosion on the port rudder due to electrical corrosion, but it is superficial and there are no problems with the rudder.
There is no major damage to the hull, but there are spray paint repair marks on various parts of the hull.
　Rubber stains due to deterioration of air fenders can be removed with paint thinner.

　The boat was tested as shown in the video and recorded a maximum speed of 24.8 kts/2850 rpm.
There are no problems with running. Black smoke is generated during acceleration, but it disappears once the boat is underway.
　The photos of this boat were taken on June 15, 2022, and the video was taken on June 17 of the same year.

　The toilet photo was taken before replacement and has now been converted to a new electric marine toilet.
