This is a BLACKFIN YACHT CORP 29' flybridge boat first registered in Japan in July 1991. The current owner was looking for a two-shafted boat and purchased her in 2020. She was purchased by the current owner in 2020 as a salon cruiser type boat. She was moored at sea when she was purchased and has been stored on land at a marina. The hull has been polished and the FB cushions, etc., have been stored in the cabin except for boarding and covered to prevent damage from UV rays and wind and rain as much as possible. He has left all the maintenance of the engine, consumable parts, and periodic preventive maintenance to the marina. Because of his work, he is not able to ride the boat during the boating season (spring through fall), but during the winter season when he has more time, he rides the boat two to three times a month. The speed is about 20 knots at 2000 RPM, and the bottom is thick, so he feels the good wave breaking effect of the hull shape. The hull has a certain amount of wear and tear, but I personally did not feel the same difference as the age of the boat compared to the relatively newer boats stored around her. There were some minor scratches, but nothing that needs to be repaired. The hull and bottom of the boat were polished at the time of purchase. The paint on the hull bottom is also free of shells and other adhering debris due to being stored on land. There is no damage that needs to be repaired. The gunnels were in relatively good condition, with no major damage. There were some minor scratches and scuffs from use and sunburn, but there were no stains to be concerned about and the boat was solid. The design of the cabin and deck is designed to keep the height of the flybridge low, making it relatively easy and safe to get in and out of the boat. Because it is an open-type boat, wind, rain, and dust are unavoidable in its construction, so there is a sense of use and accompanying dirt, but in spite of this, I did not feel that there was enough damage to make me feel the age of the boat. The front screen and kumori look fine. The cockpit is FB only. When you enter the cabin, there is a private toilet and kitchen on the right side (refrigerator and microwave were new at the time of purchase), and a cushioned bench on the left side with a folding table facing each other in the middle, the cushion can be flattened to make a simple bed. The V-berth shows some stains and dirt, but no moldy smell. The engines are two Cummins 220 hp engines. The right side engine was overhauled in 2005. It is powerful. The hour meter at the time of the interview was 1813 hours on the left and 1700 hours on the right. The left and right engines are installed on the rear deck and covered by a large cover. The covers are removable for easy maintenance. There is a maintenance hatch behind each engine, where the main switch, battery, etc. are located. The batteries were replaced with new ones last October. The left side engine sometimes has trouble starting. The owner said, "Perhaps the cranking power becomes insufficient after not riding for a while. A battery charger has been added as a countermeasure. (Under the table floor in the interior) [We took a test ride] *Please see the videoupIt has a powerful driving sound typical of Cummins. It seemed to be in good condition with no smoke that we were concerned about. It is said to be able to make 29 knots, but it seems to be able to make 20 to 23 knots comfortably. We took her for a test sail at around that speed. The view from the flybridge is very nice. The loudspeaker is very convenient when taking off and landing. The two pellers are separated from each other, so it is easy to maneuver the boat when taking off, landing, and turning. The two fuel meters are broken (FB). The lower one does not work. The flaps do not work.
