Appearance
The hull has some minor hit scratches, scuffs, and sticker peeling, but no major damage. The gunnels are solid with only scuffs, scratches, and age-related deterioration, with no peeling or cracking. The bottom of the boat has some scuffs and scratches from normal use, but nothing that would interfere with navigation.
The front deck
has a putty fill repair repair of a hit on the tip of the bowsprit. The anchor winch was immobile. The bow rail was slightly wobbly on the starboard rail compared to the port side, but acceptable. The surface is stiff. It was dirty but it is a stain that can be cleaned with a wash.
Bridge
There is no major damage around the bridge. Navigation lights work. Wipers are ok; horn does not sound. The acrylic windows are becoming less clear, but there are no cracks. The black caulking around the windows has been replaced, but it looks amateurish and not clean. The handrails are securely attached.
Aft deck
There are some scuffs and minor scratches from normal use, but there were no areas where the surface was bua bua bua, which is common on older boats. Ikes and storage are usable. The surface of the hatch has some scuffs and peeling paint, and there are some hit marks from anchors, etc. There are some repaired chips cracks in the corners of the hatch.
The cockpit
shows overall use, but there are no problems in operating the boat here. The front windows have good visibility. The acrylic windows on both sides are becoming less transparent due to deterioration from UV rays, but there are no cracks. The Hondex GPS fish finder is an older type, but still usable. Hour meter and engine remote control also work. There was no chair back cushion.
Cabin
The cabin door opens and closes normally. The walls, ceiling, and storage space are clean for its age. The plywood in place of cushions is nicely laid out, and the storage area is clean as well, although I turned it upside down. All legal supplies are neat and tidy.
Yanmar 4JH2-DTZ up to 90 hp 995 hrs
The hour meter at the time of the interview is 995 hrs. It was owned by an elderly person who only used it a few times a year for very local fishing, and there was a long period of time when he didn't use it at all. It has been maintained by Yanmar. There is also a record book with a seal. Major maintenance other than oil changes and other routine wear and tear items are propeller replacement in January 2024 and fuel pump maintenance in December 2023.
High Tilt Drive
Tilt up and down is OK. The drive housing was replaced in November 2023 and the drive spherical slip was replaced in April 2022.
